Episode 3

In Episode 3, we do a bit of review on Alex Hutchinson’s (of Outside Magazine) recent article on human energy systems.  True to our conversational style, Brian and I go off on some tangents to include Gabor Mate and the effects of emotions on energy and disease.

As usual, Rob can’t help talking about Jiu-Jitsu in some way and Brian talks about emotional stability (or lack thereof).  We eventually bring it back around to lactate being the preferred energy source for emergency response and fight or flight mechanisms.

We sincerely hope you hear something that shifts your perspective.  Enjoy.
