WHAT IS SH//FT HEALTH?

Designed to be interactive and potent, you will learn how to harness the nervous system and your behavior patterns to spend time and pay attention where it counts for your health.

 

Our training materials will be delivered in our private online learning center two weeks before each Livestream interactive workshop.

 

We cover all four modules over two and a half months and provide video training and resources to help you deepen your understanding while studying at home.

 

Our time together Livestream is full of experiential learning, thought-provoking conversations, intimate breakout sessions, and laser coaching with Brian and Emily.

THE PROBLEM

We live in an age of physical disconnection and overstimulation. The health model is about symptoms and diseases. The Performance model is about external goals and gains. We need to reconnect to the body’s intelligence to become truly healthy and free. But that’s becoming harder to do in the Attention Economy that fills our heads with distractions. To reclaim our true health we need to SH//FT.

THE SOLUTION

Learn to harness your nervous system to read and regulate your state so you can recognize when you are being pulled away from your values and health, and redirect your attention to be present and clear in your behaviors. Own a breath practice using Art of Breath and Skill of Stress principles for metabolic and nervous system health. Plug the leaks in your work, relationships, and physical practices to expand health in every area of life.

The biggest shift for me was the understanding that I am the only one that gets to say what's "right" for me, so long as I'm paying attention. My health encompasses everything and is changing from second to second, so my time or self is better spent listening. Nothing is under control but everything is a choice. Absolute FREEDOM.

MODULE 1: YOUR REALITY

Modern distraction and disconnection disrupt reality and health. Learn about your brain on stress and how to read and regulate states like anxiety, overwhelm, and depression. Overcome time-wasting addictive behaviors holding you back from what’s right for you. Harness your nervous system to reclaim your vitality and clarity as a way of being.

MODULE 2: OWN A PRACTICE

Own a personalized physical practice to cultivate resources for stability and health.  Practice with tools to build trust with your body and mind. Overcome distraction and frustration to make a practice work for you. Develop a deep WHY for moving and breathing well with tools to show up without needing discipline or performative goals.

MODULE 3: WORK AS DEEP WORK

Learn how modern attention is holding us back from making work fulfilling and truly healthy. Reshape your work environment to work with what’s best for YOUR body and brain. Manage time and attention to deepen impact, reduce mistakes, distractions, and noise, and improve effectiveness to make your work your art.

MODULE 4: ELEVATED RELATIONSHIPS

Look in the mirror of your relationships and learn skills to take ownership of your attachments and patterns without needing other people to change. Communicate to connect instead of correct. Address social habits like screens and addictions to re-engage with more ease and health. Expand your experience of self through genuine connections where you can be fearlessly true to yourself and others.

My health has shifted in the way that my awareness of who I am is deeper. So I now can create more opportunities to make better decisions and behave in a way that is more connected with who I am and who I want to be.
And furthermore giving me a even better understanding of practicing this awareness.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Although athletes have taught us a lot about human stress and performance, SH//FT HEALTH is for any human willing to take time to learn and understand themselves through the body, mind, and breath.

 

Coaches, therapists, entrepreneurs, and executives will find tools in this program that optimize your effectiveness and expand your capacity to share vitatity through your work.

 

If you are not ready to take ownership of your health and find yourself arguing for your limitations, this program is not right for you at this time.

PROGRAM FLOW

All four module calls are interactive, workshop format Livestream via Zoom for your group. We work with your team to pace the program and schedule the workshops at optimal times for you. Between these calls, you’ll have a content-rich curriculum with journal exercises and experiments to explore the material through your own physiology. You'll explore effects of different breathing exercises, movement challenges, cold exposure, and more personal content like setting healthy boundaries using your own physiology as your guide for what's right for you.
