Apnea vs. Cadence: What's the difference?

Cadence protocols have an even ratio, and Apnea protocols involve more extended breath holds after the inhale. Try the protocols within your Exhale Test category to see which works best for different situations. These protocols are designed to promote healthy, functional breathing and improve CO2 Tolerance (long-term adaptation) through daily breath training. Visit the CO2 Tolerance Group in the app to learn more and improve your score through training there.

Your protocols may increase focus or awareness. If you notice anxiety or tension, let the practice go and take our Breath Essentials course in My Plans or watch our Stress Molecule webinar series in the dropdown menu of the All Access group.
